Every plan covers one domain. Adding another adds one more subscription of the same plan at the same price, billed together on one invoice — so three domains on Starter is 3 x $24 = $72 a month. You add and remove domains from your dashboard: adding one charges the rest of the current period straight away, and removing one credits the unused part against your next invoice.

Fix guidance means each issue is explained with the element that failed, the success criterion it breaches, and what to change — plus a ready-to-paste prompt for your AI assistant. AccessWiser does not edit your site or rewrite its code; your developer applies the fix.

Scans are automated checks that find a subset of WCAG 2.2 AA issues — they never replace manual and assistive-technology testing. Quick and full site scans check every page reachable from an address you give. The per-page checks are the same in both, and the two are metered separately. Each domain is one subscription unit: a second domain on any plan adds another of that plan at the same price, on the same invoice. A specific page scan checks one page; a full site scan checks every page it can reach from an address you give, for one unit. The per-page checks are the same in both, and the two are metered separately. How the two scan classes, allowances and credits work

Scans, allowances and credits

Every plan includes a monthly allowance of automated accessibility scans. If you need more in a given month, you can top the allowance up with a one-time credit pack. Here is exactly what a scan is, what it is not, and how the numbers work.

What a scan is — and what it is not

A scan runs automated checks against a page on a domain you own and have verified, maps each issue it finds to the WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion it affects, and gives you plain-language guidance for fixing it in your own code.

Automated checks detect only a portion of possible accessibility barriers. Judgements like whether alt text is meaningful, whether reading order makes sense, or whether a form is genuinely usable with a screen reader need a person. A scan never replaces manual testing and testing with assistive technology, and running one does not by itself make your site conform to the ADA, WCAG 2.2 AA, Section 508 or the EAA. What AccessWiser does and doesn't do.

What each plan includes each month

There are two scan classes, and each has its own monthly allowance. They are separate pots: a specific page scan can never spend a full-site allowance, and the reverse.

Basic203

Allowances reset at the start of each month. A scan that fails is free — it does not count against your allowance.

The two scan classes

  • Quick — the default, and what you will use nearly always: day-to-day checking while you find and fix issues.
  • Full site — a separately-metered, dated run, for the scans you intend to keep as part of a remediation record.

Both classes run the same analysis. Choosing evidence charges a different pot and labels the run. It does not check more deeply, run longer, cover more of your site, produce an extra document, or keep the result for longer. We would rather tell you that than let the price imply otherwise. If it ever changes, this page changes with it.

Top-up credit packs

One-time purchases, not a subscription, bought from your dashboard.

  • Extra specific page scans

$12one-time, for 100 specific page scans

    That is $0.12 per scan.

For the months you ship a lot: re-checking pages as you fix them, running a sweep before a release, wiring scans into your build. Tops up your quick allowance only.

  • Extra full site scans

$19one-time, for 50 full site scans

    That is $0.38 per scan.

Tops up your full-site allowance only. One full site scan checks every page it can reach from an address you give, in one dated run. The per-page checks are the same as a specific page scan — it reaches further, it does not look harder at any one page, and it does not keep results for longer.

How credits work

  • Credits top your allowance up; they do not replace it. A scan spends this month's allowance first, and only reaches for a credit once that allowance is used up — so you never burn something you paid for while free allowance is still sitting there.
  • Credits belong to one class. Specific-page credits cannot pay for a full site scan, and full-site credits cannot pay for a specific page scan.
  • Credits expire 12 months after purchase. Unused credits are written off at that point.
  • An active subscription is required to buy credits. Credits top up a plan's monthly allowance, so there has to be a plan to top up. A 7-day trial counts.
  • A failed scan is free. If a credit paid for it, the credit is returned to the pot it came from.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Free Trial include?

Your 7-day free trial is a Starter trial—the accessibility widget, your Starter scan allowance and full dashboard access, with no credit card required. Widget customization, translation and advanced analytics are Basic-and-above features and are not part of the trial.

What’s the difference between Basic and Pro?

Basic covers 100,000 monthly visits and keeps 30 pages under weekly re-checks, with a customizable widget, translation in 100+ languages, advanced analytics, and email support. Pro raises that to 400,000 monthly visits and 100 pages, and adds priority email support and the complaint-response evidence package on annual plans—ideal for growing businesses.

Can I cancel my plan anytime?

Yes. There is no long-term commitment—you can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard.

Will my website lose features if my trial ends?

Your website itself is never affected. The widget simply pauses until you choose a plan, and all of your settings are saved for when you return.

Do I need technical skills to use AccessWiser?

Installation is a single snippet you add to your site, or one of our platform integrations. After that AccessWiser scans your pages, explains each issue in plain language and keeps a dated record of what you fix—but the fixes themselves are changes to your own site, and you or your developer make them.

How many websites can I connect?

Every plan covers 1 domain, and verifying a domain covers its subdomains too. For more than that, each additional domain adds another subscription of the same plan at the same price — three domains on Starter is 3 x $24 = $72 a month — charged together on one invoice with one renewal date. You add and remove domains yourself in the dashboard: adding one charges the rest of the current billing period straight away, and removing one credits the unused part against your next invoice rather than refunding your card.

What happens if I exceed my monthly visit limit?

Your widget keeps working. We will notify you and help you move to a plan that matches your traffic.

What is a scan, exactly?

A scan runs automated checks against a page on a domain you own and have verified, maps each issue it finds to the WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion it affects, and gives you plain-language guidance for fixing it in your code. Automated checks detect only a portion of possible accessibility barriers — they never replace manual testing and testing with assistive technology, and running one does not by itself make your site conform to the ADA, WCAG 2.2 AA, Section 508 or the EAA.

How many scans does my plan include?

Every plan includes a monthly allowance of each of the two scans. Starter includes 5 specific page scans and 1 full site scans per month, Basic 20 and 3, Pro 50 and 10, and Business 80 and 20. The two are separate pots and both reset at the start of each month. A scan that fails is free.

What are scheduled re-checks?

You pick pages to keep an eye on, and AccessWiser re-scans them on a schedule and emails you when something changes. Starter re-checks up to 15 pages monthly; Basic re-checks up to 30 pages weekly, Pro up to 100, and Business up to 200. Scheduled re-checks run automated checks only—they find a subset of possible barriers and never replace manual testing.

What is the difference between a specific page scan and a full site scan?

Reach, and nothing else. A specific page scan checks one page you name. A full site scan starts at an address you give and checks every page it can reach from there, in one dated run, for one unit of your full-site allowance however many pages it reaches. The checks themselves are identical: a full site scan does not look harder at any single page, produce an extra document, or keep results for longer. It covers more of your site — that is what it buys.

What are scan credits, and do they expire?

Credit packs are one-time top-ups for a single scan class: $12 buys 100 specific page scans ($0.12 each), and $19 buys 50 full site scans ($0.38 each). Credits top your monthly allowance up rather than replacing it: a scan spends that month's allowance first and only reaches for a credit once the allowance is used up, so you never burn a paid credit while free allowance remains. Credits are tied to the class you bought them for, and they expire 12 months after purchase. If a scan paid for with a credit fails, the credit is returned. The full-site pack costs more per scan than the specific-page pack because one full site scan covers many pages. The per-page checks are the same in both — a full site scan reaches further, it does not look harder at any one page. An earlier full-site pack ($49 for 10) is no longer sold, but credits bought from it are unaffected: they still spend, keep their original 12-month expiry, and are still returned if a scan fails.

Do I need a subscription to buy scan credits?

Yes. Credits top up a plan's monthly scan allowance, so you need an active subscription — a 7-day trial counts — for there to be an allowance to top up. Credits are bought from your dashboard.

Can I customize the widget to match my site?

Yes. Basic, Pro, and Business plans let you customize the widget's colors and position, so it can match your site's look and feel.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. Every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee—no questions asked.

Is there a discount for yearly billing?

Yes. Yearly billing costs ten times the monthly price, so you get twelve months for the price of ten—two months free every year.
